What is the D-AR2?
The D-AR2 is a high-performance active line-array sound system designed by Park Audio. It delivers 6,100 W RMS and maintains the same professional audio quality as its expanded counterpart, the D-AR4.
It provides all of this in a more compact, modular format, making it an ideal solution for medium-sized events, mobile applications and spaces where portability and efficiency are essential.

Professional performance in a more compact system
The D-AR2 offers all the features and advantages of the D-AR4 system in a more compact configuration for smaller-scale events or environments where space and mobility are essential. With 6,100 W RMS of professional power, it delivers the same level of quality, clarity and coverage as the expanded version.
The system comprises:
- 2 active NX183-P subwoofers
- 2 active D2-P line-array modules
The system is easily deployed as a ground stack using the D2-TP platform, which allows the tilt angle of the array elements to be adjusted precisely.
A suspension frame can also be ordered for flown installation, providing the same flexibility and performance as the D-AR4.
Active line-array module
D2-P — active constant-curvature line array
This system features two 8-inch loudspeakers and four 1-inch B&C SPEAKERS drivers, with 1,050 W RMS of power and a frequency range from 60 Hz to 18 kHz.
Expandable up to 4 modules, it adapts easily to spaces of any size.
Housed in a sealed metal enclosure, its compact design allows the components to be placed very close together, which:
- Minimizes phase interference
- Provides uniform coverage with only -3 dB per metre
- Reduces the risk of microphone feedback
- Ensures balanced sound in large venues

Active subwoofer
NX183-P — deep bass with amplification and DSP
The NX183-P is a professional active subwoofer designed to deliver deep, controlled low frequencies from 34 Hz to 120 Hz.
It incorporates an 18-inch B&C Speakers driver with a neodymium magnet and 4-inch voice coil, powered by an internal 2,000 W RMS amplifier. Its design delivers a maximum sound pressure level of 133 dB SPL peak, making it ideal for high-performance applications.
The DSP integrated into the amplifier module provides advanced functions for:
- Crossover filtering and equalization
- Amplifier and loudspeaker overload protection
- Optimized presets for creating directional subwoofer arrays
